About Us

Orula is a non-profit organization, was founded in Paris, France, in 2021 and operates on a local and European scale
with students and young adults as its primary target demographic.

Main Vision.

Orula name derives from West Africa Yoruba people word Orisha, or simply spirit. In this culture, Orula is the spirit of wisdom knowledge and divination. Hence Orula as a organization derives its main goal from this fact. The goal being striving for better and more specialized education. Orula seeks that any young adult, teenager or student could dive more indepth in specific topics, fields of work, education, that resonates with them the most, and they were most actively looking for.

Orula also strives to help build an inclusive society that is free from prejudice and discrimination and can advance and expand in a sustainable manner. Its primary worries, in particular for Europe, are related to the difficulties of the global World as well. Main challenges Orula raises to attention are: 

  •  The need for greater participation of the young generation, young adults in political and social life at local and European levels respectedly.
  • Racial attitudes, Xenophobia, exclusion of inviduals due to gender, political opinion, family background, different cultural, that follows this migration influx happening now.
  • Ever aging population that strains youth worker, young adult seeking healthy work-family balance.
  • Climate change and enviroment issues that effect sustainable development at every level.

Objectives.

  • Youth and vulnerable social groups empowerment through non-formal education, youth work, lifelong learning, and the encouragement of young people’s and women’s entrepreneurship and innovation.
  • Focusing on practical education and training. Using methods that could be applied more effortlessly in day-to-day endevours.
  • Strengthening cross-border civil society through knowledge exchange, the sharing of best practices, and joint projects with its large international partner network.
  • Encouraging young people’s civic participation and involvement, helping them to take on new challenges and make a difference in their communities.
  • Actively advocating green growth and sustainable social and economic paradigms, as well as the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and environmental causes.

Our Team

 

Orula’s team is made of experienced youth workers and a diverse and constantly advancing their knowledge group of volunteers. Also in our rotating ranks you can find educators, entrepreneurs, youth worker with certain valuable experence in variety of fields. Anything from programmers, social workers, leaders of youth clubs and organizations. Orula’s team is also consists of Erasmus+, EYE, ESC program participants. Over all the team is well rounded, passionate and provide creative and clever solutions to any problems that arise.

Expert in event management, and organizing. Concentrates on entrepreneurship and political science. Participated in many European projects and acquired important experience.

Studied political science. Was an active member in many student organizations where she learn the skills of promotion, communication and organization. She is mainly focused on networking and communication.

Student of Aesthetic Cosmetology. Activist fighting for women empowerment and gender equality.

Passionate civil rights activist. Hard worker and active memeber of the community. As a worker in many business firms gathered invaluable experience and skill sets in programme management entrepreneurship promotion and business mentoring.
